Attention Sledders on A103!
Fuel truck broke down on run to canyon. They are out of fuel. Joe is on the way to smooth rock to get some barrels of fuel to take back up to canyon for sledders.
Refer to the OFSC Interactive trail guide for up to date trail conditions.

Isn't that how Halfway Haven gets their fuel or does a small tanker come in?

Was a tandem fuel truck a couple years ago when we were there..

I read one time how far the trip was for the tandem to bring fuel to them. My not so good memory is thinking it was in the hundreds of kilometers including return trip and including the 40km. one way trail back into HH.

The 'hundreds of kilometers' might be the total trip. Not sure how far the turnoff if from either Wawa or the Soo.

Yes it did include the return trip and I think it was about 400 km. return

Just checked, the Soo to Frater (on the ACR) is 300 klicks round trip. Wawa to Frater is 192 round trip. (that's assuming that's where they go in from)
