On Thursday CTV Barrie reported MacTier and Port Carling area had a snow squall that got stuck over top of them for 18 hours and they were digging out of 75 cm. of snow. I was on the 400 yesterday on my way to Wild Bills and while the sides of the highway had a bit more snow than north and south of Mac Tier I didn't see anything that would have reflected 75 cm. When I got to Parry Sound there wasn't a lot of snow there either. They had some but nowhere near enough to have any trails packed and groomed.
