I doubt it if it will be a restaurant again. Just can’t see it. Wait and see.

What else would a person do with it that just bought it?

Likely a better business as a place to eat, drink, etc......than a stay over.

Unless tear down and build, but did someone not suggest it is a heritage building - so that just complicated that direction.

Sprucedale is not a big place - a spot for locals to put a few back and shoot the crap is about the only thing that makes sense to me.

No, it is not - but I think more business would come from sledders in winter and ATV's in the other seasons being right on the trail vs. locals.....could be wrong though.

Large family can use kitchen and work from home.
Seen some heritage buildings turn into real estate offices and use kitchen to severe clients drinks and a few snacks. We have one in baden now. I have to go and take some pics. Pretty neat setup at old bank in town.

Talking to a fella who knows the owner, looking to make it an eatery of some sort. Like hoping for winning the lottery.

Well, thank goodness for the rest of us who need places to stop and eat there are people out there willing to take a chance and make something work and follow their dreams, otherwise we'd have nowhere to go.

Thing of the past, but still miss the character small town hotels offered in the "good ol' days!"

So gutting upper floors adds $200,000 to price?

No, for 200K you also get a couple of new propane furnaces, concreate pads, exterior painted and to be built pergola....lol

Plus 2nd floor gutted of course.
