Steve F6 Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 We must've lost this piece connecting d101!? I think it used to run up Billy bear rd for a bit then shoot north. Thats a bummer for getting up to Kearney. The alternative 78,79 has some aweful road stretch's. Quote

Could it be that the club is still trying to get 1 or more MOU(s) signed? The trail won't show up on the ITG until they are all signed and submitted. 1 Quote

I also haven't ridden up that way in a few years with the low snow. Maybe its been closed a couple years and i didnt notice on the map. Someone will chime in maybe. 1 Quote

All donation. We're also putting together a tshirt/sweatshirt/hats order using the old school logo like the one below i believe. Come on out tomorrow and say hello, the trails will be mint! 1 Quote
Steve F6 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Baysville opened up their good sections! I just might do that tonight. They are also looking for help tomorrow to help clear the fraserburg, purbrook trails. Quote
Steve F6 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Also i noticed that the d101b is connected this year between highland rovers and ASC. Thats good news for everyone. Hats off to those that put the work in on that important link. Not sure what the issue was. 2 Quote
Steve F6 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I was out helping Baysville brushing yesterday down to purbrook. I was told that they would taking over grooming of the often neglected B trail over to hwy 35. Great news! I came back thru bigwin park on B to their open sections. Open stuff is pretty darn good as usual. Tapping the odd rock. The 850 enjoyed eating its first good meal of 91 and redline for the season. 2 Quote
Steve F6 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 In real nice shape in ASC and Tall pines area today. A bit on the loose side on d101 to asc shelterbut the carbides never scraped a rock which i've never seen on a saturday in that area. 76 was mint! 65 66 and the wolf loop were good, few face slappers and off cambered coners but no complaints. Fuel at Mountain Trout House. Only bad spot was west of Raven lk on d101 where the summer atv's have made it hard to groom. Been like that a while now and only gets worse each year in that small section. Dinner at Cast Iron, then hammered it back home thru hgr. Not much traffic today. Very little if any chatter bumps after supper. The Rmotion still got its feeding but not like a usual saturday evening around here. 258km 2 Quote
Steve F6 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I noticed while riding thru dorset recently that Trading Bay is open this year. Lunch, dinner hours. No breakfast by the looks of it. Quote
