Snow Rider Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Hi. Does anyone know if Trail 44 is close to being ready? It would be nice to head to Baysville sometime soon from the Bracebridge area.
Steve F6 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 I rode past the 41&44 intersection at d103 on saturday and there was no sign of the groomer touching it yet. But looking at the map 41 is now yellow so i would imagine 44 is next on their list. I'd like to know whats going on with the B trail thru bigwind park this year?
Snow Rider Posted January 29, 2019 Author Posted January 29, 2019 Thanks, Steve. I saw that the D opened to Kashe Lake from Gravenhurst so hopefully more trails will be able to open this week with the snow.
Steve F6 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Tried it out today. The base is pretty soft still, some whoops here and there in the usual places. Just needs some traffic to pack a nice base and the next pass with groomer it should be good. Still very rideable. 41 looked ungroomed since last snowfall. I looped down from port sydney(east side) to 44 and returned on D to 37 then D south to port. 37 was ungroomed thru DYW section. Beautiful ride. Seems that last batch of snow we got didnt pack all that great. Seemed loose and darty everywhere today but still smooth.
