hancop
Does anyone know where you can park a truck and trailer for several days in Kinmount ? Thanks
livin' on the b103
Only spot in town is the Sawmill Park, right in town by the river. Don't recall any "no overnite parking" signs. Kinmount is in Kawartha Lakes so I think your good. I do know once you get into Haliburton County there is no overnite parking allowed on town property or roads because of snow removal concerns. We even had someone park on our private road beside the Rail Trail just last week!! Not cool. Livin'
Btbt
If the parking area is full in Kinmount, where in Haliburton can you park for the day?
livin' on the b103
Day parking in Haliburton village right in town at Head lake Park. The ice crossing to B103 is right there, the B north of town is closed due to landowner issues so no access to the E or B to Whitney. Gates were open last Saturday but this was posted on their Faceplant site this week. Lot's of other spots to park during the day with trail access but no overnite as stated earlier on county properties and roads. The Pinestone will allow extended parking if you stay there for the first nite, but right now there really is nowhere to get to between the trail closures and the washouts on the trails east and west of town.
