revrnd
We have some open advertising spots on our mapboards. The spots are 1' x 2'. If anyone is a potential advertiser, the rate is $50 + HST per mapboard annually. Tentatively there will be ten (10) boards on the system this season. If a business were to buy ten 'spots', they would get a 10% discount ($450 + HST). Crystal Images Studio in Harcourt is the vendor that should be contacted to produce the signage. The cost of the signage is between the advertiser(s) and the vendor. The club installs the signage. For mor info please PM me.
revrnd
Bad news for the upcoming season. Unfortunately the club hasn't found a solution to the closure of E110 @ Bow Lake.

I used to work with him.

Small world eh? When I was working the booth on Sat' I spotted an electrician I hadn't seen in years. I only knew him by seeing him in the plant (never actually worked w/ or talked to him). I had no idea he was a sledder.
revrnd
Be aware that there is logging on 601 west of Wilberforce. You may have seen something on their Facebook page about this, but according to the OFSC you weren't supposed to see this. You can use 604 as an alternative. Crow
Not supposed to have seen logging on the trail this year, or not supposed to have seen it posted on FB? We have a trail that that's had logging on it the last 4 seasons. This year they have plowed it again but it's twice as long with possibly additional plowing yet. Crow
Can I ask why not? Seems like good information to have out there. Gives the rider a heads up to be prepared or to reroute.

Apparently no info is to be released as to why a trail is closed.
revrnd
Good news! TOP E is open between the clubhouse & Harcourt as of today: It is a narrow temporary trail for now. Sledders should use caution when passing thru here. The temporary trail is marked below in magenta. The prior route of TOP E is shown in black:
revrnd
Northbound @ the start of the temporary trail: The trail uses the OLD SNO 5, a lot of it I don't remember riding including 2 little log cabins by a small lake: Southbound approaching the reroute:
revrnd
The reroute has been completed & is now open to sledders. Be careful as part of it is a bit thin for snow.

revrnd
Be aware that both of the PTBSC groomers are down. The Trooper has a broken axle & I'm not sure of the New Holland's problems. The Trooper in on TOP E & there will be guys going in Tues' to repair it. Assistance is being provided by neighbouring clubs to groom until repairs are completed.
