snowgirl
How is the trail from New Liskeard to Kirkland Lake holding up? I see that about 1/2 has turned yellow on OFSC, and weather will be warm tomorrow. Wondering how good (or bad) it could be by Friday.
Ultrafrozen
I bet the road running will be on gravel or pavement and some of the fields will be very thin. This only from what I see from the highway between work (Earlton) and home (Kirkland Lake). I'm sure the majority will be driveable so you have to decide how much abuse your sled can take. Techdenis007
I'm in Hearst. Our parking lots are now all bare dirt or asphalt, or very close to it. Some snirt is poking through in some high traffic areas. Not the least bit worried about our trail conditions away from town. I'm more concerned about the water that's sure to start showing up on the rivers, and the slush and ice that's going to follow.
Crow
Was through the area on Monday 26th. Was getting very thin in the plowed fields near Earlton and NL. Kirkland Lake and north were still good at that point, but A trail at Val Gagne has some road running ( 3-4 kms) that could be messy.

crainer99
Went from Cochrane to New Liskeard on Monday to get back to truck and trailer. Down to Kirkland Lake was great. From Kirkland down was thin and bare spots. From Englehart to New Liskeard was bad, a lot of mud.
Ultrafrozen
I'm sure you are aware by now but trails directly south of KL are mostly closed. Were staying colder than freezing with snow in the forecast in KL, let's hope for one more weekend.
