I was out this morning. St. Clements trails ungroomed except for B203. Met Milverton groomer and Listowel groomer. Brussels and Moncton trails had been groomed last night. Cudos to the Milverton club. They have the least snowcover of anywhere I rode and there trails were the smoothest overall. They do a stellar job.

Came home to frozen slush sidewalks, dump the salt to it

I was hoping to return to 2 feet of snow and Beautiful trails. It’s going to take another 3 weeks to get there now, just in time for big end of season melt 😂. I have a bad feeling we won’t see any open trails this winter.
You off March break by any chance 🤔

This is worst winter I have every seen, in our area. No frost in ground at all, which is very un usual. Peat moss wasn’t even frozen solid been stored outside. Maybe we can get a few rides in. I can go early Saturday morning if you heading out then 😎
Be lucky to get a few weekends now. Seems trails for a crap last week of feb in our area based on past posts.

Blowing around a bit in the country but starting to get more even coverage now. Supposed to warm up to 0 in Kitchener at 1 AM. Hopefully damp enough to set and stay.

Well then don't say it . Your on the same level as the local media weather forecasters . Bundle up going down to -2 feels like -3.

8” that’s decent.,I say we are 4 to 6” tops here in baden area. Drive way not even frozen with some water on it too. Not fun cleaning snow off today. Hopefully tomorrow cold weather will settle some frost into ground when it is packed down. 🙏

One more good snow fall and gates will be open 🤔

The gates will hopefully need to be opened today as the groomer should be out panning to get the damp bottom snow packed down. If that happens it will freeze up and be the start of a real good base. Waiting means we may loose some of the dryer snow that came  last evening and could possibly blow away given some strong winds.

Defiantly has some density to it. Thank-you for update and hopefully we can ride next week 😎

Maybe the stones on the trail in your pic is why the trails aren't open yet.

Those trails don’t take allot of snow usually. Ploughed fields are still very thin even if pre flattened. Another 6” this weekend will help.  Snow squalls should come in behind this front with colder air this weekend 🙏
