jonstep
Less than a week away for our annual trip up north. Leaving KL for Timmins on Friday am. Just checking OFSC app this am and noticed the A trail north of the A and A108 junction is still showing yellow all the way to Matheson. I'm assuming it's fine and completely passable. Would anyone care to comment on up to date status? Also, going west past elk lake on the A107C to either the C or L143, is there any likelihood that either of these trails will be passable by Friday to head into Timmins from the south? Ultrafrozen
From Facebook: Note: Bourkes is where A108 north end meets the A Trail Golden Corridor Snowdrifters Kirkland Lake & Area feeling exhausted. 6 mins · ----TRAIL REPORT____Yesterday the groomer went from Kirkland Lake north on trail 108 to Bourkes. The A Trail from Bourkes to Matheson was groomed last night, but didn't quite return back to Bourkes.Another flat tire.Groomer is parked on trail just south of the Butler Lake Road. They are trying to round up volunteers to fix the flat today.
14 snow
I was just up there. A was groomed from Butler Lake to Matheson on Friday night finally. A107c has 7km of plowed road due to logging. I personally doubt that C or L143 will be open.
