zoso
On another note; I wanted to comment on how much I appreciate what the people of Shining Tree and Gowganda do for all of us. I have had the pleasure of staying at both places in Gowganda; you will not meet more genuine, finer, hard working people. We stayed at Auld Reekie earlier this year, we were welcomed like family. We have had similar experiences across the lake at Quicks and at 3 Bears when they were in business. While I love snowmobiling around northern Ontario, that's only half the attraction, visiting these places and the people is absolutely the other. A few years back we had issues on c between Sudbury and shining tree. Emergency re route was needed to keep it open. Urs opened up his place to any volunteers that would help get it done. He provided accommodations and food as well as worked his ass off to open a brand new cut in a couple of days. Nowmthat is dedication to sledders. Deeds such as this are not soon forgotten. Thank you urs for all you do.
