One of the local cat dealers in the area told me it's because cat is sending a few sleds to each dealer and car wants people to accualy go see one at their dealer ???? Midland Yamaha dealer was telling they have 3 2015 viper XTX SE new non current stock asking $12,000 whereas the 2016 are $16,000. Nice sled unfortunately it won't fit in my 10 ft trailer. Found a few people that have had them this past winter in varying ZR 7000 models and they have told me they liked them and didn't have any concerns. I will be swapping out the windshield for the larger one as I prefer not being cold to trying to look cool. I had been looking for the more basic ZR 5000 LXR with the Suzuki engine but none to be had anywhere. The El Tigre has a lot more of the bells and whistles including the heated seat.
