Big Reg
The logging Company will resume logging activity soon. So the will plow part of the D trail to Wawa and F trail to Dog Lake. As soon they tell us when they are going to plow the road we will post it here. We will do our best to keep it open with temporary re route

FINNDIAN
Our trail 7 to dubreuilville is being groomed right now and should be in great shape, so still 2 ways from wawa to dubre with the magpie reservior. Reg does this logging affect hawk junction to missinabie.

Yes Gord Hawk and Missinabie I was toll tonight that the tentative date to open the road is March 17 GG and I was talking to the dozer operator and we ask him for the 4 km that we are short of re route to push all the snow on the same side, so that way we can groom on the top of the ditch and create a temporary trail and keep the both trail open. we did groomed trail 7 a few days ago, low traffic, so ti should be top shape
sleddog
We rode the 7 from Black Trout Lk across Steephill dam and over to Wawa Lk Saturday and were the first tracks on a fresh groomed trail. The Wednesday before, we rode from Wawa to Hornepayne for lunch and back. The trail from D'ville north was so flat and hard, we had to keep grabbing snow to save our hyfax. What a great job!! Friday we rode the Wawa to Halfway to Chapleau to Missinabie to Wawa loop, 315 miles for the day! We got turned around on Mantouwik Lk after dark and had to retreat to Missinabie. Thank God Ernie re-opened and let us thaw out and refuel. Otherwise the last 65 miles in -30 temps could have had a bad ending. THANK YOU ERNIE. Oh yeah, the lemon pledge worked (somewhat). We rode for a week and didn't pass 20 sleds all week. Oh, and thanks to Gord at Jones' for taking care of us on Thurs. We burnt down a couple credit cards but had fun shopping!
