rampman
Our Now Annual Road/Trail Cleanup This Sat. Nov. 9th at 8AM Port Perry Snowmobile Club After great success last year with 80,000 kg of garbage & building materials cleaned up along Russel Rd. & Boundary Rd./ trails 105 & E108 east. We'll at it again, this coming Sat. Nov. 9th at 8AM. We'll meet at our clubhouse at 8 AM for a short meet & greet & safety meeting. Port Perry snowmobile club is just off Simcoe St. to Shirley Rd., then to Russel Rd. After the meeting we’ll head to the trail, Lafarge are supplying loaders & dumpsters & help also. Same as last year this organized by Lafarge Co., Port Perry Snowmobile Club & Long Sault Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club, help from Ontario & Durham 4X4 clubs. We are landowners along these 2 trails that are unasume roads also. I understand there's local landowners are getting evolved too. New this year, our Conservation Auth. is getting involved with help & also lunch. Be part of this local endeavor & enjoy great scenery & a little self-satisfaction of a great cleanup done. All are welcome. Lafarge along with our Conservation Auth. are supplying lunch at the Long Sault clubhouse afterwards. Please bring safety boots. So come out & meet our neighbours & help in a great cause, maybe the local councils will sit up & take notice of the real problem that happening everyday & maybe catch some of these law breakers & lay fines. Nutter
Wow what a great effort by members from PPSC, Long Sault Ridgerunners, OF4WD and local land owners, thanks to all who made it out to lend a hand, and of course special thanks to LaFarge Canada for setting up this years clean up, and providing the heavy equipment and taking care of the disposal. It's a shame this even has to be done. but great to know there's people that care enough to come out and help do this. Also big thanks to the folks over at the Long Sault Ridge Runners Club House for the awesome hospitality and great lunch

Re:Leaf
Very nice work guys. I can't believe how much garbage was removed. Thank you LaFarge for the heavy equipment and taking care of the disposal fees. I'm sure that wasn't cheap.

revrnd
My azzhat neighbour asked me one time where he could take some stuff up in the Ridges to get rid of it. I just about lost it. I told him about all shingles, tires, drywall, etc' that I'd seen up there when I was sledding or 4 wheeling.
