A107C, C106A- G.E.M Trails

Recommended Posts

We have been receiving many calls in regards to our trails and why they are still closed (red) on the interactive map.

The trails are groomed and signed. We have emailed the district manager to have the trails updated.

The trails will be posted as "Limited Available" due to the fact that brushing is necessary in some areas.

Once brushing is completed, they will be updated to "Available".

Thank you and ride safe!

Put on 890 km this weekend, elk lake, earlton, new Liskard, Kirkland lake clubs ALL have outstanding trails for the lower snow in the area. None were anything less than exceptional. The long point to elk lake trail is especially fun as the groomed "terrain" makes for some good air time in places.

Great news Jamie , we want to sled from here in Bracebridge to Gowganda , knowing that area will open soon makes most trails open for us on our run ,this warm spell coming could set back our plans for a bit :geek2:

I think down this way (Southern Ontario) is going to take a kicking the week. I don't expect it to hurt much up north as long as the people leave the trails alone which rarely happens. They are fozen beyond stiff right now so they might fare well.

Whats Bracebridge to Gowganda for you guys a two day run?

We had light rain last night, and unfortunately lost some snow. Thankfully, they are calling for 30-40cm of snow in the next 24hrs, and it has already started with flurries here in Gowganda. Lets hope the weather network is actually right this time!!!

Just to update you, the groomer broke down over the weekend while grooming the A107C from Gowganda to Elk Lake. A wheel fell off, but repairs have been made and the groomer is back on its feet as of yesterday. It has not gone out due to the mild weather in the past couple of days, but if we get all this snow and the -12C they're calling for, it should be out tomorrow!

Happy Riding!
