KCC
We are still waiting on more snow. Was out on the atvs the other day doing some minor trail work & packing down the snow with the atvs. Here's a couple pictures! Would be great to get about 4 to 6 more inches of the white stuff. Last night I spotted sled makes near Chalk River! We have about 6 to 8 inches near Rolphton.

KCC
We are a small club, 1 groomer, volunteer groomer operators plus the main ingredients SNOW. Our groomer is out 6 days & nights a week, with 1 day floater for groomer maintenance & catch up of trail grooming. No time or need to sit & warm up for 6 hours. We are lucky to have the gps tracking system in the groomer, as some of the trips are 12 hours or more. So it nice to be able to take a look at the on-line tracking during the late night & early morning hours to know that the groomer is moving & its location. KCC
Yesterday, the groomer packed the TOPS A-trail west of Deep River to club boundary with Missing Link, trail 138, part of 136. Groomer will be back out packing today (Sunday).

KCC
Groomer was out again yesterday, packing the local trails in the Bronson (132, 136, 132A). Even with all the trail work that was completed this past fall, last week's heavy snow has brought more trees & leaners down. We are busy trying to get trail cleared up, but if you have time to help contact one of our trail managers (see www.nrsa.ca - under About, then click other contacts)
KCC
Groomer was back out again today, packing 131 & 137. Lots of face slappers out there. Here a picture of the groomer going to trail 137, it sure was hard going.
canadian nytro
Hopefully you guys open soon that run from Petawawa to Mattawa is great!
KCC
Trails are coming along nicely, packed section from Hwy 17 to A-trail-136 junction (Josie lane) yesterday. Lucky the section was frozen enough, only a small breakthrough near the bottom of the big hill. It has been flagged with caution tape. Trails are still closed, but hopefully in the next day or so will be limited, lots of work is still required to remove face slappers. So if you are out please take along clippers, loppers or saw to help out on the trail work. OUR REGULAR VOLUNTEERS ARE GETTING VERY TIRED, SOME HAVE BEEN WORKING ON TRAILS SINCE SEPTEMBER!! So the A-trail has been completed packed & last night the groomer was out grooming the A-trail from groomer shed to Harvey Lake boundary. Tonight groomer is heading from groomer shed to Chalk River boundary. Local trails still need trail work, face slapper etc, the 137 has been packed but needs lots of tlc for anyone looking to help. That's it for now
KCC
Groomer is out again tonight grooming A-trail from Deep River to Chalk River boundary with Keenta. Checked the OFSC status map & the A-trail is now limited from Chalk River boundary with Keenta to Harvey Lake Boundary with Missing Link. All local club trails are still closed due to last storm being down lots of trees & face slappers.
Turbo Doo
Keep up the great work guys. Thanks you for all the hard work to..
KCC
The A-trail & trail 131 status on the OFSC map is now green, still be careful, could still be some face slappers. The other trails have been packed & groomed, but still need have leaners & face slappers removed & status is still closed on OFSC map. We are hoping maybe by next week the local trails will be open. Our volunteers have been very busy & are doing a SUPER JOB!!
KCC
Trails are coming along great! A big thank you to our neighbor's Missing Link Club who have brought down their brusher to help us clean up our trails after the heavy snow. The brusher is finishing up over in the bronson today & heading back to Stonecliffe. If you are out on the trails & come across brush & sticks on the trails, please take the time to stop & remove it from the trails. We received about 5 cm, so far to & its still snowing. Here's a couple pictures of the brusher before & after.
