snow goose Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Depends on how avid a sledder you are and if you need to get new gear or plan a trip. It is all different for each person. For me it is like a religious thing. It just wouldn't be right if I didn't go but then I live and work minutes from there. You can get maps for every district in the province, information on where to ride and stay, all kinds of sled accessories, trailers etc. If you find a buddy to make the trip with, don't stay at the most expensive hotel you can find it can be cost effective. Just don't sign up for any contests or draws - you will hear nothing but telemarketers for the next year. They didn't even give away the car people were filling out forms for last year.
