  1. I haven't got mine yet, ordered on the 1st and our mail lady is very good. Really wish I could just go buy one in barrie.
  2. If it was me and one sled was out of commission early in the season I would get a replacement permit and put it in on the backup. As long as your not using both sleds at the same time I personally don't see the issue
  3. I don't get the mentality either. My mom's boyfriend called me yesterday to say he got a sled trailer as the local trails are gone around him until lake simcoe is safe. I said get your trail pass before Nov 1st to get the discount, he says he's not going to bother since I haven't been checked in years. He was shocked when I told him I don't ride with free loaders
  4. $30 Seems like a big jump and would cause a lot of people to bitch about it. Wouldn't it be better to just increase it but say 10-$15 but do it more frequently?
  5. Got mine after having to reset the password as usual
  6. Thanks for the heads up, I want a small one for a bbq mat
  7. Well then good on him for being willing to commit to the position
  8. Yup nice to know you can provide valid proof if you forget to put the updated slips with your paperwork though
  9. That seems like a lot to put on their plate considering how much they already do.
  10. If you guys read the second article that Blake posted you would see that an ofsc representative was involved in the process when identifying where to spend money. You dont like the fact that its not going to their pocket, but has the ofsc applied for federal funding?
  11. Just my 2 cents but I think some of you guys need to be less critical and pesimistic about things like this. If this proves successful it will only help the future of our sport and maybe more funds will become available. As with anything people are going to feel that the money would be better for x,y, or z
  12. I'm getting diabetes just from looking at It! Those sour cream looking ones are making my mouth water
  13. I guess they figured that it isn't resulting in more permit sales? It will be nice to not have to worry about trying avoid sledding that weekend
  14. This would be a lifeline for sledding in the area as anything south of barrie is now a dead zone due to developers buying up farm fields and closing trails. It would be nice to be able to head into barrie for a gas/food stop while avoiding lake simcoe.
  15. None sound as bad as the fact that there is next to no permit enforcement in Ontario. Its literally just the honour system here.
  16. Definitely a step in the right direction! Only worry now is if you happen to own a bobcat and your hauling it to help your buddy out or something.
  17. Looks very positive to me, hopefully the data can be put to good use to get some funding.
  18. That's what I was thinking as well, the bag would just tear
