    Very nice.

Reminds me of taking my kids when they were three, surprising how well they do at that age.

Under three is pretty impressive though!

I could not last on the bunny hills all day, so I asked the staff if I could take them up the lifts to bigger hills, susprised that I could, so off we went and did not have return to bunny hill until they were 6 and had to earn their stripe to move on.

The bunny hill does make for a long day, I tried to get a few runs in here and there throughout day to split it up.  It is surprising how well the little ones do, the lack of fear, or feeling of pain definitely helps.  Some of the most fun he had was falling and being covered in snow, and laughing his butt off.

  2. Skied there on Friday with the family, conditions were great, good temps and fresh snow all day.  We didn’t see any brown patches, bonus day out for us, nice to have one more “winter” day.  My little guy took to skiing well this season, no issues making it down the bunny hill without falling.  He’ll be 3 in June.  My wife’s in for some competition next season.

Cat just released their 25’s and all the pricing. Crazy pricing lol.

Crazy pricing doesn’t even justify the stupidity…. T Cat is $28.4k pre tax before any other charges or add ons.  Over $32k plus out the door.  Insane.  I bought mine in February of 2019, granted it was mid season but with the discounts that year this is almost double what I paid. Fortunately for me the miles are low and all preventative maintenance items have been completed so no need for a new one.   A SxS for $15-20k is looking more and more appealing each day.  Family fun at the cottage that can be used 10-12 months a year.

  4. Snowing steady all morning in Wasaga, had lots of fun playing in the snow, my son riding his mini Viper, and testing out all the new ski gear making sure he’s warm and comfortable.  Consistent snow on the way home until 89.  Barrie looked like there was slightly more snow.

  5. Cat released their ‘25 models today.  Those 858 ZR Catalysts are going to do well I think especially with how positive the feedback has been with the 600’s.  I stopped by the dealer last Friday and was able to sit on a few 600 Catalysts, very different to the Yamacats, sled went on a huge diet, seating position is much more forward.  Nice seeing new tech/stuff from Cat.

  6. Trailer prices seem to be a little more consistent currently.  I sold my Legend hybrid last Sunday in under a week for good money but then had to spend a good amount more for my new 7x14 cargo that is being built first week of January.  I’ve had good luck with not loosing anything on my 2 previous trailers, I’m hoping that holds true for the new one also.

Just finished a week long saddle bag trip and on occasion my Mission helmet seem to have an air leak, I assume around the seal.

I think it happened only one day.

Normally not a huge deal, but on really cold days and travelling at a quick pace, I found my eyes watering and skin just under my eyes getting a little wind burn.

Anyone have any feedback on this based on knowing or hearing of this happening to others?

Otherwise, helmet worked great. Used the heated visor once on the day it was snowing pretty good just to avoid the potential issues for that day and needing to get the wires out on the trail vs. at the start of the day when it was easier - anything that hit the visor would normally turn into a ice ball right away otherwise.

I’ve had this happen also, only happens to me on colder days when the visor is left open after riding for a trail side stop.  Moisture will freeze up on the rubber seal of the helmet and or on the edge of the visor where it meets the seal.  Any time that I’ve felt air I have always been able to clear the ice off by running my finger along the seal to make sure it’s clear of build up and eliminate any air leak.

  8. First ride of the season for me yesterday,  was joined by some good company, it was nice to see @WinderFab and @FIRE242 again.  We launched out of the Port Perry club house and headed to Fenelon Falls.  Back down to Port Perry and over towards the Ganaraska forest.  230km, there were some thinner spots heading north but the clubs have done an amazing job with what they had.  Rail lines were in good shape.  There is a lot more snow heading east out of Port Perry though, at least double if not more.  Nice to finally give the arms a good turbo stretching :smil9:

  9. Crazy times now, I ordered a new Ram on March 30th, it still hasn’t showed.  In July it was flipped to a ‘22 and they provided me a new vin.  22’s started being built this week, and Canadian orders that were flipped to 22’s seem to be being produced first this week, hopefully my truck arrives early October.  6 plus months after I ordered it, lol was told 8-12 weeks when I did.  Luckily I was able to purchase a very low mileage F150 for precovid pricing in June to hold me over until the Ram arrives.  Plan to trade it in for a slight profit.  Best of luck to all waiting on anything these days!!

That’s the bag I run! Either on top of the fuel tank or without it. Works great

Looking back at the pics of the ride two weeks ago I can’t believe I didn’t ask you about the mount and bags you use.  Are you happy with the UNT mount?? With the SR21 bag alone can you still use the med tunnel bag in front of it??

The C trail was pretty choppy to smooth rock and the A trail also till we got to moonbeam trails . Took the 123. It was excellent and the A trail was much better to the west . Did the 153 loop on the way it was fantastic also . I think we will survive the warm up no problem . Heading out for another ride now nice the days are longer

Last day on the trails & still snowing. 187 klicks. Rode west towards Opaz on TOP A & then took the L123 back to Moonbeam. @Arctic JC we turned onto the L119 (east end) around 12 noon. Hope you guys had a good ride west. The Nursery Loop was a bit of a mess lots of sled traffic & lots of snow. Caught up to the groomer on the top of the L125. Top speed wasn't as good as the other day.

A little snack on TOP A before heading back to Kap before loading up. Still a but blustery & Hwy 11 was wet.20210303_083205.thumb.jpg.713b515c6b24d7e950819ff7b9c068ee.jpg
