  3. Looking to get out for my 1st ride of the season this weekend. lol. yeah I know I'm a little late to the party this season but it just hasn't worked out for me this year. Any suggestions for a staging point within a hour drive from Bala to ride this weekend? Thanks folks. Happy trails
  4. Do you have any contact information?
  5. Looking for a shop in the Muskoka/Barrie area that can work on Fox Shocks. I've use ShockTec in the past and they do great work but they are busy right now. ( I know I left it too late) LOL. So I was looking around for any other recommendations to have my skid shock serviced. Thanks!

  7. Read that there was an opp investigation due to a serious accident. No idea what happened, just from what I've seen on 705 sleds.

  9. Correct - You can take pics all day long and then after the ride is complete it automatically adds in all the photos you take and then you can remove if you want. Found this app last year and find it to be pretty cool.
  10. Great App - I also use it when out for rides.
  11. Wow - thanks for the pics and update. Trails look pretty good.
  12. Anyone able to provide a update as to how much snow came down Monday in the Bala/Mactier area? I've seen on Facebook that the Muskoka Snowtrails groomer was out on Tuesday night. Hopeful for another ride this weekend, has anyone been out in the area? What were the trails like? Thanks
  13. We ended up going north from our place to ride Mactier & Parry Sound. Trails were excellent - ended up doing 155km.
  14. ahhhh yes, I did forget that there is a bunch of road running that way. Will probably avoid going that way now. Thanks for the reply!
  15. Looking for some different options for tomorrow. Does anyone know what its like crossing the bay from Honey Harbor going into Penetang? Saw on the news that there is some open spots now by the south end of Beausoleil Island? I'm guessing its not in the tree line, but not 100% sure. Riding out from Gibson Lake and was thinking of crossing the bay to ride the 303 305 304 trails. Past 3 weekends we have been riding north to Parry Sound and have been pretty good but just looking for a change.
  16. Not looking good. This could be a super short season for me.
  17. The last 2 weekends we have been out riding the Baxter trails and its been pretty good considering there isn't much snow. Looking to go a different way this weekend, Anyone been out on the 6 Star trails in Mactier? OR Anyone know how the slush is out on the Bay from Honey Harbor across to Midland/Penatang? To the volunteers - The Gibson Lake guys appreciate the work you have been doing to get the trails open for us to enjoy!
  18. If i was to bet its to save the already very thin trail base. We need today's storm to dump to fill in the holes.
  19. saw this on the facebooks..... Silly question but where is tomahawk channel? All i know is its in HH.
  20. We are indeed neighbors. too funny - sled didn't start last Saturday... too cold!
  21. The closest trails open to you would be Orangeville. But I'm not even sure I would start there. I live in Shelburne and was kinda surprised the trails were showing open here today. Drove past the B110 South of Shelburne Tuesday night and at the road crossings was looking pretty thin. I have not been on any trails here so I dont know what its like on them, only what i saw the other day. Hope this helps.
