  1. I really only plug mine in when riding at night or when lots of snow dust to give anyone behind me better visibility.
  2. I have a pair of the XL I am selling if anyone is interested, already sold my XXL ones to a friend
  3. Peak in Barrie has kits available as well as ATC coral if anyone is looking to have the recall done.
  4. The Fuzion gloves I just can’t get to fit properly but the Klimate gloves I am wearing from last season are so much more comfortable and even Saturday at minus 24 my hands weren’t cold. Here is a link to the Bite harder Safety light kit. we have it on both of our helmets and most of our friends have also bought them, very very bright even during the day the visibility is bright. https://biteharder.com/product/snowmobile-helmet-safety-light/
  5. Got back last night from our 4 day trip up north, conditions were excellent, did about 900 miles. The ride from hearst to Geraldton was good, glad we got to experience it. They’ve done quite of bit of brushing and removed the tag alders from the trail, few here and there but nothing major, really starts to get awesomely from the Pagwa river west. We made it in good time and did the big loop around Longlac which was spectacular to say the least and did the smaller loop the next day. We stayed at the Between the Bridges Inn, nice place good restaurant, also had pizza at the Longlac Pizzeria which was very good. I’d definitely do the trip again and maybe stay in longlac an extra night to do more exploring in the area. On a sled note our VR1 was incredible on gas and oil consumption, had no problem going the 150 miles without topping up and still had about 5 litres left. On our biggest day of riding we did just over 250 miles and used one quart of oil. My 850 is noticeably thirstier lol.
  6. I have been using the Qualipieces carbides this year and have both the Adventures and the treks, Here is my take on them. Treks work really well in hard pack trails, not super agressive in the the corners Adventures- love them for all types of conditions, been running the 4 inch carbide but am getting a set of the 8 inch as I think they will be a little more agressive for cornering. Last season I ran the 8 inch ACS carbides on my gripper skiis and was quite happy with them, great longevity to them Hope this helps
  7. Heading to Cochrane this weekend for a 4 day run out to Geraldton and back. other than the extreme cold Saturday should be a fun trip.
  8. Spent the weekend in Temagami at the Polaris Ambassador meet and ride, had a great time meeting fellow riders and ambassadors from Ontario, with the support of the riders and sponsors we raised 4000 for the local snowmobile club.

  14. Agreed I got my trail permit in about 4 days after I redeemed it.
  15. X3 we’ve enjoyed our visit there very much
  16. Not the Ranger but we ended up trading in our Tacoma and got a Highlander XSE instead through my dealership group. I just never got comfortable with the Tacoma, Fuel economy was horrible and unless we were towing I never really felt secure driving it in the winter. Switching to the Highlander is night and day difference in comfort and handling and fuel economy is much better, Plus 2022 was the last year you could get one with the V6 and personally I am not a fan of turbo's. With regards to the Ranger I heard there is redesign about to be released any day now, might want to wait and see what the changes are to the 2023's. Hope this helps
  17. Thanks, its really weird cause my 2023 seat foam and my brothers was white and soft vs what others are saying. One of those things you need to actually check the seat out. I am fine with trading the higher seat position over the softer seat. My knees aren't what they used to be lol. @Re:Leaf lol I have been thinking of Dave quite a bit in trying to figure out the seat thing.
  18. My 21 had a vet firm seat, 22 was much softer and the 22 seemed a little more soft yet again, for me it’s more the seating position vs the comfort being a little higher up.
  19. It’s supposed to be firmer, I ended up finding someone to trade seats with me and another for my brothers new Xcr
  20. Thought I would ask, is there anyone out there with a Polaris Matryx that has the very firm seat that would be interested in trading for one for the softer foam? My seat is from a 2023 XCR all black. The harder foam is yellow which is the one I am looking for. Thanks in advance
  21. lmao, Haliburton Forest, put on 20 miles yesterday doing trail work for Snowcrest though.
  22. It was quite good, we put on 75 miles for the day
  23. Nothing overnight in Gravenhurst but looks it is on its way, Was snowing really good from Orillia to Barrie this morning.
  24. Never spoke with them, did it online first thing this morning. I’m in the same boat just want to give it a break in run.
  25. Just booked at the forest for the 26th, not expecting great conditions but will be nice to ride anyways
