  1. I bought mine from Chris, rather buy from Canadian reseller. plenty of folks buying them. Mike Guliz is another guy/ YouTuber that had Chris install one. you are right, don’t need it, but what a difference it makes, totally changes the sleds attitude.
  2. I installed this kit on my 900TR and finally got a chance to try it out. so far, very good and very happy with it, with no issues and anyone looking to add some more jam and much better throttle response, this is a great kit, awesome performance gains and I think for a reasonable price.
  3. Yea, each day so far it’s gotten busier on our route.
  4. Kanawata to clova, around 255. 83 to parent was good. 83 closer to clova had some thin sections, especially the area that had forest fires this past summer from I assume combination of logging now going on and lack of wind protection with so many trees burnt up….quite a bit of damage caused by the fires. A few pictures, beauty day with the bright sun and cold.
  5. Likely saw the most sleds so far today. not busy on the trails though. it’s odd, stop for food, see more sleds, but on the trails, much fewer. quebec’ers ontarian’s american’s edit: talking to some Americans today and they said why is it the last few years there are so many more Ontario folks riding in QC than years past.
  6. 2024 or older 900TR? I ask because the 2024 in our group is a couple litres more per fill up.
  7. My 900TR is getting around 15 lites per 100 km….hand calculated, but the display is pretty close to that too.
  8. How’s your 6 keeping up with the 900 on the big trails? I’m loving my 900 on the trails we are running….other than the wooped sections…lol the McX kit is great improvement.
  9. 425 on the clock today from hotel jardin to kanawata. First part of trail enroute to relais22 was rough but remainder was mint. trail out of wemotaci should be closed, horrible stretch, than 30 or so km of logging, than mint.
  10. No pictures, but ran from chiboug to lac st Jean, only trails that were real thin were the ones about 50 km outside of LSJ, this area needs some snow! usually no issues running down the sidewalk full of snow to get gas, this year, it’s bare. parking lot at hotel is bare also. Rest of trail was great. Around 290km. Hoping as we head south west tomorrow, they have more snow.

I see the cat again as sled of choice - hard to give the old girl up for the newer doo! a couple of familiar folks too, doodette and nutter.
  12. Ran from senneterre to chiboug today, about 370km. yes snow is on the lower side, but a fantastic ride with no complaints. passed/saw 3 to 4 groups on the trails. just a few pictures from the day.
  13. Saw groomer I’m timiscaming earlier today. roads were real slick heading north east from there, few vehicles in ditch or flipped. trails look decent from road and saw sleds out enjoying the trails too.
  14. Currently a mixture of Red, Yellow and Green.....Red is wining the battle by the looks of it!
  15. I do not agree with many of your thoughts, but this one, I do! to each their own though, I get how some will have a hard time swallowing the pill of trails less than ideal, while others consider it the cost of sledding.
  16. I was checking out their offerings a few weeks ago, they do offer some good stuff. I imagine with the new cats and the system they now have, they’ll sell lots of kits that covert cat to LinQ.
  17. Been watcing the conditions there, mild today with a bit of rain, not as bad as here, starts to dip into negatives tomorrow evening and continues that trend the rest of the week, which is good, but not much new snow.......going with the mindset not all snow that falls is forecasted......

Anyone putting on their weather forecast hat at this point is just asking to look stupid.....
  19. LOL Are yuo not in QC somewhere, or almost headed there?!?!
  20. The winter of 04/05 I was almost going to buy a 900 Fusion from Edge up the road.....ended up with an F7 from Dryland instead, later was I ever happy I went with the Cat, sled was flawless and fun.

That looks like a cool place - nice to see some still exist! Is that the home track for your boy, any other places you frequent.

So does that mean the 200 or so billion being spent of our tax money on climate change is not working.....maybe 400 billion is the magic number where we will see some return on the waste......

I think you’ll be able to ride, ideally around your parents place or possible trailer a bit further. It feels like winter is done in many areas , but I don’t think so.
