  5. This is our go to spot for lunch when we make the Cochrane to Hearst run. It was our first time experiencing the new owners, and it did not dissapoint. Fabulous food, service and the new owners are great people. Highly recommended this little gem up here. Just off the L123, in Moonbeam up from the post office. They do have signs up trailside...

  13. Just wanted to give a shootout to Veilleux Camping and Marina. We have been there before for dinner and lunch, but just wanted to say the food and service was excellent today. They have renovated the inside of the restaurant. Great place, great food, great people. Highly recommend it if your in Hearst..

  17. Well, I can confirm Arctic Riders is heading south on the C trail with the groomer as we passed today. And the other groomer is sitting alongside the trail just before the river crossing broke down. C trail now open...
  18. It's definitely a blow to Riders, and the clubs and volunteers. It just amazes me that one would get involved in that business, and have no way of keeping that road open, plan or no plan. Unfortunate situation.
  19. I'm pretty sure Arctic Riders Groomer is stuck in some overflow slush from a beaver swamped out section of trail from pictures on Facebook..
  20. Well said Ski. Enough Excuses. Doo it right, or shut it down for good.
  21. Not being a ass here, but how can you operate that place, in that area, and not have a way to keep that road open?. Sorry guys, that's just bad planning and business imo....The trails can, will and are maintained good by the clubs.
