I have found that new NTN Taiwan bearings in the idlers are not much better. The 6004's need washing out and greasing every year to run smooth. The loose slide fit of the left track drive bearing is the biggest design problem of current Cats. Lots of spun bearings and destroyed drive shafts. Mine will need welding and machining in the spring to save the shaft assy.
That is not fast at all for a car or even a huge Rambo pickup, BUT, when pulling a barn door through the air, the amount of drag increases exponentially with the amount of speed.
Sorta the same a the pestilence spreading factor.
These are the bridges that I was refering to. The bridge that xtc500 is refering to is a wild ride. I just found it on Google Earth. I think that bridge is the one our companions found by mistake. One made it over. The other turned around. We never make it to Quebec that day.
Xtc500, I was refering to the bridges on the Quebec end of trail. They were a lot shorter and not so high. I never seen the death bridge 1/2 our group went over. They had ties missing from the story. I will chech out your coordinates on Google Earth.
I know of Team Green (old light racing green), and Pearl Green, much darker and used on wheels and ski loops 2008 -20?? That RS edition looks like a lime green in the photos. I have never seen one in the flesh.
Sounds like I need to keep my 30 year policy with The Guarantee Company of North America. At least they insure all my toys and so far, Intact hasn't f%&$ed it up yet.
