Received a message Tonight that the mount forest trails will be closing. Also in the message was said that a few land owners are fed up with people running on the closed trails and also running off the trails Not good optics for the sport

I'm pretty sure the trails around mount forest are gonna closed soon if we don't get any new snow

Well unless we get snow in my area, i can see at least a one day trip north from all the pictures posted on here. This is definitely a love hate sport and a sickness all tied up in one

Was talking to a friend in Arthur today he said they had a couple of reroutes do to idiots running on a guys lawn and off limits to the fields

This also goes as the case when I ride my motorcycle. love nature’s sounds and sights and smells Dropping in and out of the cooler spots like a swampy area along the side of the road smelling the fresh cut hay, small things i know but makes me feel good

That’s what i done, in one season i sold 7 passes, also found a dozen more running that had permits but didn’t stick them on their sleds

I have no problem calling people out on there stupidity. lord knows people have called me out on mine. But one thing i would not do is disrespect others property and belongings. i for one would like to see people start publicly shaming the idiots that are running off trails in this sport.

Was looking at motorcycles yesterday, prices are not dropping in that sport,

I know growing up in the east coast in Nova Scotia, there have been many times when i look back that i could have been ended. we didn't race from light to light. we raced from community to community I have lost a lot of good friends playing death games behind the wheel of an old car. myself i have been in some pretty bad wrecks and crawled out of them

the said part of this crap is, it is not kids doing the trespassing it's older adults that think they are privileged.

the rail trails are also in jeopardy as well because of the insurance, plus they are a all purpose. i think hillsburgh lost some rail trail a couple yrs back

even if they don't charge them, ay least the word will be out there that they have a presence
