  1. So I talked to my MPP today. I said I was disappointed in his local health unit officer making his own rules. I thanked him for being in the country. He said he would get back to me on my concerns.I said don't worry about that I will call you tomorrow and the next day. More to come tomorrow.More should do this instead of taking up bandwidth.
  2. Dr Jim serves at the pleasure of the government,it is an appointed position. The petition needs to go to his boss.Doug Ford and the Minister of Health. You can start by PHONING not email, they can be ignored your MPP.
  3. Parry Sound #s are some of the lowest in central Ontario.Dr Jim needs a kick in the nuts.
  4. April Fools fellows know the water well and was a calculated risk that they where prepared for.Not condoning it but it's a cool vid. The area has sunk way more boats than sleds but the water is warmer and the outcome is not surprisingly better.
  5. Even in the best of years the area of Sturgeon Bay between Penatang-Waubaushene to Port Severn is never as it appears to be.There is many Poynyas--good for seals and narwhals not so much for sledders.Even the locals who have lived there whole life get caught. This year you are foolish to be out there.
  6. Best I can figure it is a Breast Cancer charity run with a catch. Despite the cold weather the corn feed cheeseheads from Wisconsin do a Kelly Shires type run. Appropriately Knockers is a local brewery that sponsors the event. I t is a weekend gathering that raises a large sum of cash for the pink ribbon campaign.I imagine it is in late winter early spring considering the attire.
  7. Parry Sound Service Ontario is usually in and out in 5 minutes and they are polite.I can go there faster than online. You should know the saying."Since retirement I have been so busy I don't know how I ever had time to go to work."
  8. Knockers Bikini Run for Charity might be an exception.
  9. Trappers Choice is a little rough getting too. You have to run the sidewalk through the GM dealer and a well plowed No Frills parking lot. It is only accessible from the north. Food is good.I haven't been in the rooms in 30 yrs ..Canadian Tire Gas bar next door. Timmies within walking distance.
  10. Take the cover off and run it over with the truck.
  11. I belong to the 50yr club.I have been stopped for papers twice in that time. All regions of Ontario and Kbec. But I haven't rode on weekends in years. The groomer can be an effective tool for enforcement on tight trails.LOL
  12. Even though Parry Sound is well below the Sudbury cutoff line for 2/4 weeks. We are 2 weeks. Our health unit is North Bay,which is listed in the 2week zone. That's going to piss people off in Muskoka.
  13. I also have 2. They where a $1.00 back in the day.
  14. I live in Pte au Baril and never seen, heard about or witnessed such a roadblock. The MTO,MNRF,and the Ride follks use it frequently as it is slower traffic and they have space to corral us bad people.
  15. We got 10-15 cm in Pte au Baril.
  16. Soup, the culprits that stole the car would have a bit of a walk home?
  17. Part of the TSSA bulletin also references mini vans and suvs,no gas inside.
  18. Yea it's Kushog. No particular reason.Known Mark since 75 or so. But there boys did run Kashawigamog every day in the winter for high skool.
  19. There is a pic of the Lester gang in an old OSM or an early Supertrax at the Micky D's drive through in Parry Sound.Hard to get there now.
  20. Thank you for mentioning that.Ive been too busy winterizing boats. There is a plug in the front of the manifold that can be removed.Quite surprised who much water comes out. That manifold is hard to get as well.
  21. I do about 10 -12 4.3s a year. They all have difference depending on the year. I don't have time at the moment but will reread tonight and offer any advice I can.
  22. The Township of The Archipelago has a year round bylaw prohibiting fireworks.Only exceptions are Canada day,Memorial day and Labour day. It is however hard to get the Bylaw guy out 25 miles in the bay,and it doesn't appear to enforced inland.
