Just came up to spend the week in huntsville at our cabin. Most snow at one time in my history here(2003) glad I brought my kubota blower up...still took forever as there was is a solid 4 ft...twice as high as the blower auger. Got the generator going as cabin was a nice 2 deg inside. We were lucky as all our roads were plowed for the first time an hour before our arrival...felt like a lottery win..
Then even better power comes back on...woo hoo..

Just drove from Hamilton to Ayr. Extremely strong winds with snow blowing everywhere. Was at out trucks top lot down by QEW and snow mostly blowing away...couple inches at home in Ayr...will get blower out later as drifts are starting to form with the wind

I have been keeping an eye on used truck prices as I will need one at some point. Definitely see prices slowly coming down and inventory staying on lots much longer.

We always keep our heat on at around 48-50 F....never had a problem...however a neighbor after 20 years of keeping heat on decided to save so.e money....then next spring excavators digging around foundation to make repairs.
We also have an older type phone system to turn on furnace...good option if u don't have internet...call ahead 5 hours and turns heat on to 1 pre selected temp.

No worries...it was quite ok to cross and easy to follow tracks to trails
