  1. The Riot X has been dropped out of the lineup for 2025.
  2. The crossover sleds (Riots) all have dual rail skids. The mountain sleds have single beam skids.
  3. Patrick, you could try uship.com. This is an online brokerage service. You list your item, destination and pickup addresses; shippers who can handle your load will quote you pricing. My son had his Harley shipped out west using this service and it worked out fine. FWIW I got quotes using uship to move a sled from PQ to here, they were in the range of $800 so I don't think $1100 out to Saskatchewan is out of line.
  4. Sorry to hear about this incident and I hope your friend recovers as quickly as possible. Hopefully the other rider can be found. Riders not staying on their side of the trail is my biggest complaint about trail riding.
  5. The chassis will not be produced for consumers until the 23/24 riding season, a year from now. I think at best there might be a few demo units at dealers for test rides this season. Probably be a few racers on the new chassis in race series where that is allowed. As a long time Cat diehard I'm excited to see some serious investment on the sled side of Cat. Better late than never.
  6. Did anyone expect Skidoo to be selling rebadged Arctic Cats (with Yamaha motors)? I can only assume it must have been part of the patent infringement resolution - along with Cat giving BRP rights to the Lynx name. I wonder if there will be more of this strange partnership in the future.
  7. Yesterday we started at the STP groomer yard and rode up across Wanapitei and did part of the Wolf loop, stopping at the lookout. We then rode out past Sportsman's (they are open for gas) and headed over to Hagar/Warren area. Hoped to have lunch at Kate's only to find out they are closed on Sunday. Did D104 on the way out and D103 on the way back, both fantastic trails. Ran our way back via Rail trails (did not cross the infamous bridge, I am spooked at heights) and got back to the yard on fumes. 200 miles of mostly fantastic, well groomed trails, only some short pieces of gritty road running here and there. Lots of fresh grooming, not much traffic and adequate snow cover. Great job by STP and the Nipissing Veuve club working with the snow they have. A great way to end the season if the weather takes away the trails.
  8. Arctic Cat has a model called the ZR200 that is a little larger and more powerful than the 120's. There is also a Yamaha badged version of the same sled (I think called the sno-scoot). Either of these might be perfect for her. Good luck!
  9. Thanks for adding the graphics!
  10. South River to Stonecliffe is tight for gas, depending on your sled and driving habits it may be possible but you might be on fumes or worse near Stonecliffe. To make it through, there is a gas station on D trail just past the junction of D trail and A101D called Chisholm Country Market. You can gas up or top up there and then the run to Stonecliffe is doable without going into Mattawa. As you travel north on D Trail, stay left when you meet the rail trail, the right turn would put you on A101D towards Mattawa. The gas station is about 4 or 5 clicks up D trail. They have limited opening hours so check ahead to make sure they are open when you plan to make the trip.
