The one in the front is a 12/3 because the headlight was stationary. After a 2nd look @ the blown up pic, I'm thinking someone painted it. There is no "ski-doo" graphic on the black hood stripe.

A young lad in the village showed me this pic from the house he owns. I knew the previous owners (both passed on) from when the pic was taken. It's dated 1970, the 1st winter we had our 335 Oly. Any idea if the white Oly is a special model?

The winter we ran A105Q we stayed in Amos. I wonder how much sled traffic in that part of A-T is due to Ontario riders doing loops?

Down to Ottawa via Hwy 7 today. Can any regular travellers along this route identify the 2 closed motels that are between the Arden & Mountain Grove turnoffs? The easterly 1 is on the north side. The motel closer to Arden "The (blank) Inn" is on the south side. Just wondering if I have them listed on the database. TIA

When we were @ Grundy Lake there was some construction activity (logging right now) between the Hwy 69 & 522 junction & Key River. Not sure how this will affect TOP C & C105D in the future. Updated list. Thru the Ottawa Valley recently on Hwy 17. No sign of a Mi Casa B&B, Stonecliffe Resort or Rapides Motel. Saw an abandoned business, Breton Motel & Restaurant east of Mattawa. Looking online it closed sometime prior to 2010. It's on my database, but I don't ever recall hearing about it. It'll be removed from the database. Sometimes it's hard to determine if a business is open or closed permanently. Type "breton motel mattawa" into your search engine of choice & look @ all the hits that come up.

Ate there on Sat'. Good food & they have their liquor licence.

Just got thru the TATA map. Two most district maps & 3 club maps to go. I'll let you guys know when the online version has been updated.

X2 LOL Several years ago a classmate who moved to northern Ontario and was a truck driver. He was passing thru the Buffalo area w/ a trainee when they came upon a residential fire. I guess he told the trainee who had lived in the north his entire life that he could stroke that off his bucket list, seeing a fire in Buffalo. The guy didn't understand, so he had to explain to him about growing up watching the Channel 7 news and every night had a story about a fire.

The restaurant @ Ox Narrows has reopened & a patio/deck has been added. They are awaiting their liquor licence.

Drove by the motel & restaurant in July. Looks like they did a good job on the renos.
