  1. After spring booking in March 2021and all the recalls ,yesterday we got to bring both our new girls home. My wife and I can't say enough about Black's Corners Polaris. The staff worked hard to get our sleds in and fixed as soon as parts were available.

  2. I say boycott them, I'm sure everyone here has done the canyon run at least 1x, no need to go back as far as I'm concerned. other than the dam, it wasn't really a memorable trip to begin with.

  4. Nothing beats being able to thaw the sleds every night. 24 x 22 insulated garage at the cottage heated with a pellet stove. With the stove trimmed down about a half bag every 24 hours keeps it at 70 or better in there ( $7.00 for a bag of pellets now). Half the garage is a lounge/livingroom where we hang out more than in the cottage, so we keep the temps comfy. Pop the ski's in then put them on dollies then run the rest of the sled in till I can get a dolly under the track. When we roll out on Sunday or Mondays I top the stove up and trim it as low as possible and let it roll, looking at the security cams it usually runs for about 48 to 50 hours. No matter how cold it gets we've never seen it go below 45-50 in there when get back up Thursday or Friday. It has a floor drain but the pellet stove runs so dry most of the the water evaps faster than it makes it over to the drain, which also helps make it more comfy in there.

  5. yep, if you have ever filled out the Arrive Can Ap (not mandated at this time, now) they already have your vax status on the border crossing doc list, that they track you on. they have a written tracking online for every border crossing you have made in the last 20 years (or more). that is why they ask, when was the last time you crossed, they ask you where you are going, and when you are coming back. they look for inconsistencies in your trips, stories, claims of what you are getting, or brining, going to/from with you etc... when they see a pattern, or a inconsistency, it gives them "grounds" for a secondary search. your results may vary. they scan your license plate and track that as well. they know who owns, or drives certain plated vehicles, this lines up with the passport, or ID provided at the window. they know who should be in that auto, prior to you even getting to the window. 6. I tried this it a few years ago. I found the salt water sat under the mat and eventually ate (pitted) a good portion of the concrete where the mat sat. I started to use the traditional three point dollies. I would either pull the sled out the garage with all the dollies in place or remove the one under the track and simply drive out with the ones under the skies. I found this the most effective. In fact the one under the skies would simply pop out once I hit the snow on my driveway.

  7. No personal experience, but hearing from people that cross, it is very much hit or miss. Cannot believe I am saying this, but it is not a entering Canada issue, it is a entering US issue - THANK YOU to the Freeeeedom Convoy!!!!!
