  1. So sleds this year. This is what I made up to send anyone who asks since there is a big concern. We are getting sleds in every week actually and will have all the sleds delivered. So that is great news!!! But they will be missing parts. Like gauges and electrical components. Parts hopefully will be available in November or December for them if all goes well. We than have over 215 sleds to get out to customers. We can build 5-6 a day with extra mechanics we have for this. So 20 a week if everything goes perfect. And as fast as we can schedule you in for pick up. So example if we start building late November early December we have 8-10 weeks of building and delivering to everyone so yes the last sled built and delivered will be end of Jan early Feb. We understand not ideal and yes into sledding season. This is purely due to no parts for the skidoos. So we are trying our absolute best and be assured when they are ready I will reach out to you and be prepared to pick up as soon as I Call cause we’re going to build and get them out as fast as possible. As you see the numbers and timing It's not going to be good. But there is absolutely nothing you or I can do about it. We Just will do our absolute best to build and get to you when I can! I will reach out when you can pick and your new sled and book a time From my dealer in southwestern Ontario

  3. 100% I did do my part and vote of course and I did learn a lot from the break out sessions too. But by far the best part is brainstorming with other Club Members. It isn't for everyone, but clubs do need the volunteers that just want to stake and build bridges as well as the people that are good at organizing the behind the scenes crap. Although I also stake and help build bridges I'm definitely the behind the scenes person. Today has already gotten away from me because I've had phone calls with 2 landowners, 2 neighbouring Club Execs, our main groomer operator aka @vooodooo and emails to the locksmith and all Club Volunteers. But now plans are forming to get some gates installed and meet on the site of a bridge project this weekend. It's all coming together...next year will be easier, right? 🤪 AGM was my networking with other behind the scenes organizers and I definitely miss that.

  4. It is great that they now have no more excuses for spending massive amounts of money on the AGM. It was argued you could not do it remotely. Once again I have been proven correct. Never again should permit money be spent on expensive hotel rooms, meals, flights, travel mileage, and conference rooms.

  5. Wondering why they would not " build" (not sure what that means as they are supposedly built when received ) the sleds they have received in advance of the missing parts arriving and then just install the missing parts when they receive them? I understand that means investing $$ well prior to receiving payment but it would most certainly make their customers happier as complete delivery would hopefully take place sooner and the dealer would have full payment sooner. 6. IMO that is always just as important as making sure your club carried the votes voice of it's membership. Over the past 18 years I've seen many new volunteer club exec leave AGM weekend with the knowledge and go to friendships from other clubs to give them a good running start at running a club. Most are still well involved. 🍻 Seems like yesterday Yukon, TVBrian and myself were doing AGM seminars/workshops on how to set your club up with a Webpage, then a few years later Social media lol 🍻

  7. I have a huge dislike for AGM's As VP for our club, i said I would never go to one. Whereas and therefore's drive me nuts. Give me a bridge to fix, wings to cook, stakes to put in, and wood to split to keep a shack warm, and I will be there. AGM's, and I will pass.
