The ITG isn't the type of system that can allow 250 people to be online updating from 200 clubs at one time, it will simply crash the server. It's not a state of the art Million dollar system. This is why certain people have access. It has nothing to do with trust issues. Sounds like you need the right person or two available to update.3 points

The trail heading NW of the clubhouse is open as well as the B203 heading NE from Linwood. I believe the 5-71 is open as well. They have been trying to get the ITG updated most of the day.2 points

Those 2 yellow Hus-Ski's side by side. 8 hp. and the big power 444 twelve hp. My dad bought an 8 hp. and after I wore it out he bought a 444 and I pretty much wore it out to. Thanks for the memories Snowchopper.2 points

Hats off to the volunteers, and the real Heroes, the groomer operators for getting the white ribbon trails in as good as shape as they are today with the little they have to work with. The parking lot in Atwood was a little full this afternoon But the trails are in good shape. Only the 2nd time in three years that I have had 3 sleds that we could go out with the whole family and have a ride.2 points

Dropped in Palmerston went west then north to Clifford back south east to the car. Nice 3 hour ride. Trails were really good, smooth and groomed. Some thin spots on farmers fields and in the woods but overall nice with limited amount of snow they have. Thanks to the all the volunteers who made it possible. Road running was very thin and temps got up a couple times. Lots of sleds out no issues with racers. Overall excellent little rip close to home.2 points

What's working in Quebec is enforcement. They have a good thing going, and have no intention of letting a few A-ho's ruin it for everyone else. I've never HEARD of anyone getting hassled for speed, but just try sledding without a pass or insurance or license. Or an unsafe or obnoxious noisy sled. Chances are HIGH that you're going to get nailed. And prosecuted. Problem solved. By the clubs, mostly. It's what we're going to wish we did.2 points

Me and 09MXZ rode 280 kms from Fenelon Falls to Dorset and back today. Conditions were much better today than the last two Saturdays. The odd bumpy stretch, but overall trails were great. Lots of lake running to. Even the rail trail south of Hali. to Fenelon was good for the most part. A few rollers, but ok for late afternoon. Groomer heading north at Superior Propane around 4:30 p.m.1 point

Sad isn't it? Pretty much why I stay away from most of the sledding pages over there 'cept for the club ones.1 point

Sold out by 9pm. Was a good turn out. One more Wing Night for the season left. Open trails today. Let’s hope they last for a month.1 point

Coverage is not limited by time. It's for "normal operations of a snowmobile club" 365 days a year. Volunteers working on trails in the off season is normal use. Providing coverage for a landowner for a hiker accessing their property with the landowners permission is not normal use (regardless of time of year). This is the issue. Municipalities/ gov't owned agencies trying to push this liability on the clubs. It's more complicated than this when you start running possible scenario's, but that's the heart of the issue at hand. Glad to see things have been dealt with in Ottawa.1 point
