Snowcrest's B-Trail, going to Wood Lake, at the bottom of the big hills, has had a wash out. It has been filled with tree branches but with the mild temperatures, extreme caution should be used in this area. Also, there have been reports of logging on the trail.

The remainder of Kahshe lake will be staked this weekend as we have resolved a landowner issue.

STK1 and STK1A completing the Kahshe Lake Stake Line.

Great effort and thanks to everyone!

As of yesterday all Snowcrest trails are limited with C101D and D marked as open.

There may still be soft spots and water on the trail so ride cautiously.

As of last night there was a bit of a water problem on trail 12 on just before HWY 169 but here is the update as of tonight.

C101D was groomed by Snowcrest today, all the way to Southwood / Torrance. Take a look at "Trails" tab on Snowcrests Web site. Trails are changing from Limited to OPEN! Major trail washout on trail 12 before you cross HWY 169 to Walker's Point has been fixed. Snowcrest groomer showed up with lumber strapped to the drag. Thanks to groomer operator Pat and a number of sledders who stopped to help, a 14 foot long X 8 foot wide bridge was constructed in minutes, so sleds can make it across to the pancake brunch. Well done Snowcrest! and thankyou to everyone who stopped to help. Caution should still be used when crossing. Watch for strips of caution tape as you approach the area. Once the bridge was built, several sleds crossed without any problems.

Thanks again to Doonut for the heads up!

Rode trails 10, 12, C101D, 15, and 4 and all were in good shape except for C101D. It took a beating today with traffic.

It was a cold, crisp day but worth every minute.

C101D is Limited alright. Dam near brutal on Sunday.

#9 is actually excellent except for the impassable, open flowing creek with two foot high vertical banks of ice on either side of it near the south end. You have to use the beaver pond to the north of the trail to get by and I will not say its perfectly safe because its a little sketchy.
