DWIGHT RX
Below is the trails update we are sending to the MSR for the website. 65 NORTH Dwight trail from shelter to curve inn standing water 2 feet deep on the trail after the bridge 73 Dwight water ran down trail washing out sections creeks in hwy ditches overflowing and open water 5' deep 74 Dwight ok 76 Dwight gravel pits by goose lk under water 77 Dwight road travel areas are bare Dwight beach rd trail from Dwight to hillside has many washed out areas 77 East Dwight ok 78 Dwight trees down clearing and cutting continuing 79 Dwight ok D101B Dwight hunters bridge is an island, 50' of water before you get to the bridge. water 8"deep on trail, bridge on trail to shelter washed out, 200' of trail under 1' of water some hills totally bare not possible to get to Dorset at this time. Trail to the north the swamp behind fire hall at Oxbow lk 2' of standing water for 150' of trail As you all can see from this trails update, we will not be open this weekend. While the crew was out working on the trails a couple ATV's (rant for another time) passed them only to be found around the next corner under water on the trail. That' a heck of a "soaker"!! Hopefully the colder temperatures and snow will help for next week, but for now we need time to get the trails in order and repaired. We will post updates when we have the time, if you have the time contact the clubs as we sure could use the help getting the trails reopened. Thank you for your patience.
