I see our groomer went out this morning, drag in tow ... not sure which way and how much they'll be doing.

I figured it was wrong as soon as I seen a guy post it was open on 3 different FB pages lol. Gotta cross a river and its 100 miles of swamp. And when the A trail thats half logging rd isn't open yet it sends red flags.

Noticed today on my way home that the rail trail south of Fenelon Falls towards Lindsay was freshly groomed.

Groomed or compacted to make the base?

Sunday,  Monday and possibly Tuesday will be some melting and re freezing at night to seal up the ice base.  Any snow after that is groomed .

Keep in mind the railbed is mixed use and skiers/ dog walkers will be there before us.

Just my 2 cents.

I'll be able to hear the whining from here...

They're pretty quick to forget WHO grooms the trail so that it's walkable.

I see we're at 478 kms now!  Just had a nice blizzard of snow this aft to cover the ice around here.  Can't wait to get started this year ?!?!  Looks like I might have the first ride around the Liskeard area.

Just studded the track yesterday which was the last thing I needed to do to be ready to go for the season.
