If going to Cochrane you may want to check out Floods landing., nice place that opened up last year.

How many hours you willing to travel?

6 hours will get you to places in Quebec where cabins to rent at several lodges are an option.

Christmas to New Years will still be a wait and see for weather and trails availability.

Quebec would have additional permit cost if you don’t already buy an annual.

3 day $135.00

7 day $235.00

Tricky part about Lodge or Resort booking in Ontario or Quebec is cancellation policies aren’t very flexible if weather doesn’t cooperate.

Nunz, did you & Karen eat or stay there? Nothing on their webpage about eats.

Active on FB. I think we'll be there when we are up next week-weekend for some eats.

Yes, please.  Tell us about Floods Landing. It would be great to find a new place to stay in Cochrane.

Floods is PBRiders presidents favorite place and he camps there IIRC. Ask on their Facebook page about the hours and schedule, he'll likely reply within a day.

I’m not a FacePlant person. Is there another way I can find out?

We’ve eaten breakfast there last year short ride  from Westway nice little spot, they do rent cabins but no running water in them, they have a separate building for the facilities. Definitely worth stopping in, we are planning on having a meal there next week or two. It’s a brand new home built facility. All log cabin style dining room.

Anyone know the chances of the C trail between Timmins and Cochrane opening up in the next couple days? Still not really much open as limited/good in that area. Or the A111C east of Timmins towards Iroquois Falls. Would like to make some loops but doesn't look good at this time.
