Nighttime lows below zero right through November 20th in Parry Sound (with the exception of this Saturday, plus 2). Minus 10 Sunday through Wed next week. Brrrrrrr ....

Nothing under minus 12 (nightly lows) in Cochrane until the 20th. Minus 21 on Tuesday.

Had about 2 1/2" of fresh snow on the ramp out front but most of what hit the ground has melted. Good thing as I haven't done any trail staking yet. Lots of corn still in fields.

Based on last winter around here, 2 1/2 " this early in the season is reason enough for getting excited.

Collingwood.

Quite a few sledders in my neighbourhood, and on nights like tonight, we go for a road rip and stop at anyone with open garages (with sleds) and have a bevy and show off your iron etc.  It’s a first snow tradition around here.
