Deep River Updates

Finally posting a couple of updates from the May 2-4 trip to the Ottawa Valley

 

The Petrocan in Deep River is now an Ultramar

 

The Mr Gas south of Deep River is closed.

 

We had lunch at the Rolphton Restaurant.

Thanks, Revrnd. I remember the Esso station, but never visited the Rolphton Motel and Restaurant. Filing that away as a destination from Bonfield, in case we need an alternative to Deep River.

 

The logging road trails (136, 132, 131) are wonderful. Sweeping corners, elevation changes.

My friend's hunting camp is west of the 193 logo & north of the Park.

Wonderful topography - you must have a blast at that hunting camp.

I havent hunted there, just visited. In May they cut & split next year's firewood. We did a tour on the logging roads afterwards checking to see if any of the neighbouring camps were up.
