People can access the ICE contacts on a locked phone. My buddy on the OPP has used this feature a few times at accident sites to contact people when the person is unable to communicate. Glad to hear that things worked out for her. I almost lost mine in the Westway parking lot in Feb'. I took a few pics the morning we left & thought I put it in my bib pocket. I guess I missed & it fell out on the snow. Luckily irREVerent or his friend Harold spotted the phone (orange case) laying on the snow by our sleds. My son and I have the same phone, and have our name and home phone number on the home screen. One time he forgot his phone in a warm up shack. By the time he realized it was missing, someone had already left a message at our house with where they had hid the phone. We picked it up on the way back.
