Blake G
Plenty of active sledders on reasonable trails around Kearney today. They are grooming Seguin Trail right now. Edited March 22, 2019 by Blake G
snowowl
Did 105 miles on Wednesday - Kearney, Sundridge and South River. Trails have some icy spots and the odd rock starting to poke through here and there. Roads are getting bare and the towns are tough to get through without Rouski's. Otherwise great spring conditions. Near North trails were excellent.

Blake G
Today we were late season beneficiaries of the hard work done by Highland Rovers and Du Ya Wanna. I salute Mark Reynolds, Del Snyder, and their teams. 170 kms of good sledding. Down 95, up 102, and 101. Accidentally flattened a black squirrel. Across Seguin, down 83, east and west on 82, up 83, D, and across Seguin again. All in nice condition. Bit of bare road in a couple of places, but a small price to pay. Investigated a couple of local road allowance trails that I'd been too busy to check in the past. Saw a couple of retired guys riding their ATV's on 83 and the Seguin. We stopped to chat with them - - they said they "thought" the trails were closed. (B#tch whaaat?) Here are two shots of my friend, BFB, riding my Polaris while his Venture (The Exxon Valdez) is in the shop for a minor fix. Blake G
Snow at home was encouraging. Seguin provided good riding, with 10 cms of new snow on top of the hard base. D is real nice in Du Ya Wanna land. Sprucedale Hotel ticking along. (Trails in this area will reportedly be made unavailable tomorrow.) WinderFab
Seen quite a few sleds yesterday and today running the sequin east and west of Orrville, also on the C101 and the top C south of Humphrey. I guess guys are getting every last km they can get lol.

Blake G
Trails were very good on the last day of availability for Almaguin District. Very impressed. I was a little skeptical at first, but the scratchers are great. Very easily deployed by reaching back while seated, or by using the toe of your boot while standing. (I'm not a fan of bending over, other than on election day.)
