We had a big snowstorm last night high winds today we are waiting a day and leaving tommorrow.

My dads' hometown... if you're stuck there, go sightseeing.  Search for "Gionet Family Monument" and you'll see (well maybe not with all that snow) a monument describing my family's heritage ....

we where stuck in hotel all day the town was shutdown we are planning on leaving this morning but it does not look good the wind is cranking this morning will see what the leader decides

A couple of links should you consider getting a 7 day New Brunswick pass and tour around there instead of Quebec- Atlantic Host and Danny's Inn in Bathurst as two main places to stay in the area.
