Soo Lodging Question

Need A Vacation

Recommended Posts

From the trail map and app it looks like the Ambassador Motel is right by the trail. Anyone know if there is easy access to the trail???

Heading up tonight for the w/e. Not sure if we will stay at the same place Sat night or stay out on the trail, possibly at Black Creek if there is a cabin available. Time will tell.

TY!!!

Ambassador and Fairmont are both on the 'town' trail.  Can be iffy if conditions are marginal, though.

Was there last year in March toward spring conditions - easy access out the back parking lot of Ambassador and local trail is sort of bush oriented. Could not find the Fairmont to make a comparison. You might also look at the Blueberry Hill north of town -

Incidentally, the Ambassador and Blue Berry Hill both have indoor pools. Don't sign up for the water exercise classes at the Blueberry -ms. slomo relates motel owner / exercise leader is a fitness nazi. You will need to be in half decent shape to carry stuff up to the second floor motel rooms though.

No doubt Dan can help you out with the other places.

TY to all!!!

Got busy at work and didn’t get a chance to reply until now.

We did get a room at the Ambassador. Seems decent so far. Had the groomer show up at about midnight.

I’ll post back up after the w/e.

TY again!!!

The Ambassador worked out pretty good, especially with the trail at the back of the parking lot!!! If I had one small minor complaint it would be the right parking lot. With a a HD CCSB and a 27’ trailer (22’+5’ v), you can’t just make a u turn...

Definitely was chilly this w/e!!!
