johnsazzr
Anyone heading north towards North Bay pls note..Damn! .post is from OSRG "So a major piece of trail in the North Bay area, the D trail south of Astorville / Lake Nosbonsing is closed and “no trespassing” signs posted due to landowner not granting access because some people couldn’t stay on the trail! This resulted in a 10-14 klm road run for us to get to Astorville and the open D trail again or would’ve been a long way around by trail and the Thundercat hit 97 degrees ( at 100 it goes into limp mode ! ) and my new sliders are now “seasoned” and my Bergstrom triple point carbides broken in. Not happy! Stay on the trail people or theres going to be more and more of this!"
PISTON LAKE CRUISER
Quite a bit of discussion about this in the "Trail closures near Powassan" thread in this forum
zoso
I would have spent the 2 hours extra riding around. 1-2 km of road is one thing, 14 km is way too far.

Our club posted this closed section on it's facebook page in an effort to warn people. It was a last minute closure by a land owner at the start of the season. Alternate routes are not that easy to find. Advertising that amount of road running was not practical in our opinion, although some people will look at a map and decide to run the roads anyway. It sure does suck that a few idiots ruin it for all of us. It seems like this message just does not sink in. Same as the cans. We like to blame the kids and their entitlement attitudes, but the fact is, adults raised those kids to behave in this manner.

Exactly-kids that grow up with little respect or manners-their parents lack of discipline reinforced in the laissez-faire educational system!
