Baylaker
Leaving Edgewater in Kearney after a bit of a ride tomorrow to head up to north bay, does anyone have any reports on conditions in NB? Staying at comfort inn on lakeshore. Thanks

atventure
Nipissing is staked, I was out the other day and the groomer was out on the trails through town (SSR Club), NBSC has been out almost everyday grooming north and east of the portage. Conditions are great.

Big Pussy
As far as trail quality through town, is it better to start from Travelodge Airport, or Lakeshore ? Dinner Bell and Cedar Gables are full.

The nice thing about it is that you are on the D trail in no time. If you are riding north or east it would be my pick. The trail along the lake is green but takes longer to get to the main trails. The trail to the travelodge is not accessible by the groomer and is a little tricky getting through parking lots, ditches, etc. but its very close to D trail & Trout Lake. The trails through town are pretty good right now, but can deteriorate over the course of a day depending on temps and traffic. We groom these trails every other day or so. coldfinger
Does the Travelodge contribute or assist the club in any way ?

In the past and this year as well they advertise on the Near North Map. Maybe B.Baker will chip in as he would know if they help out any other way. Its not. Be prepared for a phone call at 3am from the North Bay police.
