Been out of the game too long, have a friend looking for a weekend get away up north and looking for a good place to stay with easy access to sled rentals too, suggestions?

If they want to go as far north as Kirkland Lake there is Speedy Snowmobile Rentals     http://www.rentsnowmobile.com/      and everything else you need close at hand.

If they want to not go as far north Wild Bill at Rosseau Road Motorsports   rosseauroad.ca/snowmobile-rentals/   south of Parry Sound has rentals and is a site sponsoor here.  Tapatoo Resort is close and lots of other places to stay / food / trails.

That's an easy one. Tapatoo just south of Parry Sound for a place to stay including a pool. It's right on a trail and a short ride to a major trail. Right close by is Rosseau Rd. Powersports. Wild Bill and his family rent sleds, support snowmobilers and are all volunteers with the local club. I believe Bill is club pres.

If you are familiar with WagJag, the Grand Tapppattoo quite often has a deal on there.  This one expires before the trails open, but is an example of the current one being offered

I believe they also have a snowmobilers special during the winter months. We were last there for a snowmobile poker run and the dinner on Saturday was part of the poker run event. The dinner for the Friday night when we got there was I thought rather pricey for what we had. All in all it was a good experience though.

Would be nice if they actually pictured their accomodations on their web page.
