There's been a whole bunch of 'em around here, far more than I've seen in many Many years. Looks like their flyways might be changing back to what they used to be. -2 this morning in Hearst, frost again. Nice to see a typical autumn weather / temperature trend. soupkids
The weather guys are calling for 10 to 15 cm here between Friday and Saturday. Honestly it can stay away unroll we get some cold temps. We have LOTS of water around this year.

The Shekak river which is usually more rock than water this time of year, is still at springtime levels. Lots of water everywhere, ridiculous. The cold will help firm things up at least a bit. It's the never ending battle. We like our thermostat in F rather than dealing with half degrees in C. 1 degree C has a much more significant comfort feel than 1 degree F. She turns it up, I turn it down. Every summer during air conditioning season the thermostat is set at 76F 24.5C. That's cool enough. Then comes the winter and for years we have always maintained at least I have tried to maintain 72F 22C which for me is comfortable especially when in the rec room which is always cooler. Suddenly this winter my wife seems to think 76 would be a good winter temperature as well. She would prefer 77F 25C
