revrnd
Rolled into Timmins @ 5 PM. Weve changed our plans slightly . IrREVerant & I will be riding for 4 days, then driving home Sun'. North of Englehart the trail conditions look better. TOP A highway crossing south of Kenogami looked fine. Timmins groomer out on L24 (thru town) this evening. slomo
Maybe using the word "blastoff" to describe your trip is bad luck? (sort of suggests a catastrophic cylinder head failure and previously titled reports feature break downs, towing, etc. ) New sled, new word! Have fun! revrnd
LMAO Slomo 235 klicks up to Cochrane for lunch. Saw a lynx EXCELLENT never seen one before. The powerline north & south of the warm up shelter in such a state I could open up the 900 LOL Anyone w/ a 600 2 stroke would be happy w/ the 'performance' if you switched to the 900 ACE. Snowmobile friendly in Cochrane Frederick House River south of Cochrane on the L103 Lynx on L103. It din't seem to upset when we rode up to it. It had been sitting on the plowed road then climbed up the bank. Looking east on Algonquin in Timmins Parked in front of our rooms. My trail pics are on my other camera so I'll try to remember to use the phone tomorrow.

I'm kinda happy with the 30 miles per gallon on the 600 4 stroke. Didn't realize the BonAir was so close to the trail. Noted. Keep the pictures coming! The Esso is accessible albeit w/ a bare parking lot & cars lined up for the car wash. Shell is accessible by staying on south side of Algonquin & following the fencing. Reved
Have a good trip. My trip was almost as rough as your 1st attemp. 50km riding sled, 5km being towed, 55km on the back set of a stranger 2up sled and 2300km in the truck.

revrnd
Rode out to Foleyet today for 291 klicks. Timmins trails other than 6 klicks of plowed snow covered road was good to Opishung R bridge. Foleyet side a bit choppy & thin in a few spots. Have they been down on snow this winter? Foleyet General Store only sells regular gas, no premium. Quite a few besides us fueling up & grabbing a bite @ the restaurant across the street. C101D west of L21 jct': Powerline east of Opishing River: Fuelling up in Foleyet: Northern Light Restaurant across the street from general store:

I meant a picture of the white moose head inside the restaurant in the corner of the dining room. You can see a nose through the window in the picture. I think the moose was killed on a RR track in 1964. The story is on the wall by the moose.

I think my buddy took a pic of the moose passing there in 2012.
