When you get it out on the rough stuff, we need a ride comfort report. Congrats.

I'm not expecting much different than my 16, same sled but 800 this time.

Just finished installing the stud, carbide, scratchers, GPS mount, mountain bar, hitch bumper so I can ride tomorrow.

This matching has the PIDD with GPS, will have to figure that out another day.

Soup, I still think you got a raw deal on the insurance claim.

The honest guy gets screwed and those that milk the system are rewarded.

In the end he has a new sled to focus on I hope that it is a great sled and that he has many more in his future

Monday, big 49.

Halfway through my 16 hr breakin peroid, good thing, at 20% more oil usage is be broke by the end of the weekend.

Ride is pretty much the same as my 600 except for one thing.

You hit that little plastic thing on the right bar you better hang on.

Have to make some suspension adjustments to try and keep the skis on the snow, hard to steer when the skis are in the air.

Happy Birthday Soup.  You and Rev sure did get some nice gifts. Did you get the submarine option on your new toy? (lol)

In what way is it different vs your previous one?

Old 600

New 800

Managed to get 350 miles on since pickup on Friday.

One more ride should get me past the 18 hr break in.

Is oil injection electronically controlled? The manual for my sled says that during the first few hours of break-in, the engine management system controls some engine parameters which will slightly reduce the engine performance.

I didn't think it was noticeable on 900's.

Yes.

Uses 20% more oil for the first 18 hrs.

Not sure about performance, will let you know once I pass 18 hrs.

Which at the rate I'm going should be tomorrow
