The C trail after Estaire was very rough.  It seemed to be a combination of low snow and lack of grooming.  After we bailed to Trout Lake Road, the lake was good, and the trails afterward into Noelville were quite nice.  Actually, the best trails we rode all weekend.

Thanks for the report. The French River SA always does a great job.

Ran up to merickville. all trails good except for 30km of Top E from the E105 to smiths falls. t is horrid, not groomed since last friday and has snirt and gravel. Oddly it is green kand other trails that were table top are yellow. Once again showing how useless that map is.

The yellow and green markings are not the fault of the map AS YOU KNOW. The clubs/districts change the colours of the trails not the OFSC so if you are going to be upset then why not address the issue with the ones who dictate the colour for the particular trail(s) you are unhappy with or better yet, volunteer to help make the situation better.

You can request a update for sure,  but if the system is down nothing will change,  it part of life now?

Agreed Rich. Is the updating system continually having downtime?

Just pointing out how useless this map is. It basically serves no purpose, be it technical issues, or lack of data input, or accuracy, it fails at every turn. BTW, I am far from upset, I really do not care, I just ride when there is snow, and it pretty easy to look out the window and see if the snow is there or not.

Oh, I thought from all you post about it that you were upset.

How were they?

Hmmm, for some reason, I thought I could link.

Carleton Regional groomed yesterday, after the weekend carnage. Awesome, truly green-worthy trails. Osgoode, not so much. East of Osgoode, trails were a mix, but not mogulled out. Plan was to stick with Carleton, and see how it went, but wound up doing a lap to avoid those 2 417 crossings again.

Sounds like they are in good enough shape to survive the mini melt over the next two days. I am riding on Wed, and am hoping they survive the rain on thursday for  some more local runs. At least the ditches to the trail head from my place are nice and full and well packed, should not get too muddy.

Great day to ride. From Carnarvon up to Kawagama to Dorset. B,62,64,68,65,D101b. Not a bad trail to be found. Starting to get slushy in the sunny spots and bare on the road sections but the trails couldn’t have been any better today!7D03D413-F525-4545-A9A2-BCCF3D5C31D8.thumb.jpeg.23f58a67da9ea74317a1ba86270b65f8.jpeg

Shout out to the DunAhmic club, north district 10 ....excellent job on the trails in probably one of the roughest geographic regions in the province....got to ride from the camp last Saturday...

bit of POW on Manitowabing (as the young folks say)

woodland trails excellent in flat areas....somewhat stretched and worn in the hills over rocks...

Was able to get in a couple of circle tours and did not get killed on C101

Sunday was spent shovelling off the roof - if you haven't checked yours in the area for a while, about a foot of compacted rain drenched and then frozen layer, covered by a foot or two of lighter stuff.

E107 and 747. Both were OK, but a stretch (747) along the Jack's Lake Road will probably be toast after tomorrow. They tried to groom it since we were thru on Sat' & all they did was scrape off the snow.

Crap E208 out of Ptbo went red. I was keeping an eye on it & maybe try it on Fri'. I was by the staging area last week after picking up the sled & there were several rigs parked there.
