Welcome to the forum. Take a look at the OFSC Interactive Trail Guide. Trails shown in red are closed and not open for riding. Yellow are limited availability meaning there are some hazards to be wary of such as uneven trail, water, thin snow etc. and green is open and ready to ride. It doesn't work with Windows Internet Explorer. They are convinced everyone uses something else. It does work with Google Chrome. I am going to assume you have a valid trail permit of course. Riding without a permit is illegal. Depending on the age of the sled you may be able to get a reduced price Classic permit.

and here it the link to buy a permit if you don't have one - they can only be acquired online

I'm going to guess you know you need to have an MTO validation sticker just like on your vehicle and insurance as well.

Scott, I'm new too... Welcome to the OC. Looks like the trails are closed in Kitchener still. If you have insurance and it is registered you could always ride on the road around town - that's what I did the first few days I had my sled.

In the meantime there is tons of useful info on these forums.

Happy riding.

Wyatt

I'm from KW too. Did my first ride today down near Tilsonburg. Welcome!

How was snow coverage in that area? Usually gets better closer to turkey point you get?
